On August 24th, Charlie Batch visited Mohawk High School, and later the elementary school, to kick off a positive behavior program, Warrior P.R.I.D.E., an acronym for personal responsibility, respect, integrity, determination and enthusiasm. And the New Castle News was there to cover it!
Charlie told the students, “Take responsibility for yourself, but most of all, be respectful to others. Be the best that you can be.”
And his remarks really scored. High school senior Jaize Ziegler said of Charlie’s keynote speech, “It was really phenomenal. He was probably the best speaker I’ve heard as long as I’ve been here. He knew what he was talking about and how to support your community.”
