STEAM Showcase Open House offers a platform for last year’s completed projects to showcase what they have accomplished.  It also gives next year’s recipients a chance to talk with these successful projects and discuss obstacles and potential connections.  Finally it gives teachers, administrators, and school board members a chance to see what Pittsburgh’s world of educational technology has to offer.

Each school district represented was a winner of a $20,000 STEAM grant, made possible by the Claude Worthington Benedum and Grable Foundations.

Since 2009, the foundations and the AIU have awarded more than $2.1 million in STEAM grants to school districts in southwestern Pennsylvania.
