Charlie Batch Featured in Parents.com 10 Tips Sports Story

This month, Parents Magazine ran a story titled, “10 Tips Now that Your Kid Wants to Be in the Olympics,” and Charlie Batch provided one of the tips!

For the tip “Continue to help your child develop many interests and abilities” the article says:

“Family, leisure, academics, and social relationships are critical parts of a child’s development that should not be neglected at the expense of sports. Charlie Batch, a former NFL quarterback and co-founder of Impellia, a sports performance and rehabilitation technology company, knows first-hand the importance of having talents and goals outside of sports.

“Batch also mentors retired NFL players and connects them with resources through The Trust, an arm of the NFL Players Association. ‘You need to ask yourself: ‘If this were to end today, what would I be doing?’ he says. ‘Single-minded focus is not the way to go.'”

Charlie Batch to Keynote the Chambers YMCA 2016 Light of the Valley Awards Luncheon

On Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at 11:45am, Charlie Batch will be the featured speaker for the Chambers YMCA 2016 Light of the Valley awards luncheon at the Wheeling Park White Palace. The luncheon, an annual fundraiser which benefits the YMCA’s programs for all children and families despite their ability to pay, will honor attorneys Jim and Linda Bordas of Wheeling.

Charlie Batch to Sail with Fans on 2017 Legends of Pittsburgh Cruise!

Charlie Batch announced that he will sail with Steelers fans on the 2017 Legends of Pittsburgh Cruise! The cruise, which sails March 30 – April 3, 2017, departs Tampa, Florida, and features a Port of Call in Cozumel, Mexico.
